- Objectives
- The aim of this course is to enable international students and Japanese students to experience each other's cultures and societies through collaborative learning. In class, students are invited to discuss various topics surrounding daily life with the main keywords "multicultural", "intercultural" and "mutual understanding". The results of these activities will be presented in the form of presentations and reports. We are also planning to visit a junior high school in Japan as part of our contribution to the local community. (The schedule might be changed.)
- Prerequisite
- Completion of Intermediate 2 or 3 Integral course or JLPT N2/N1 equivalent, CEFR B2/B2+ equivalent.

- Course will be completed if all the following requirements have been met;
1) Have attended more than 70% of classes 2) Have completed final exam and submit the requested assignments - Letter grades for the entire course will be assigned as follows:
A:80-100% B:65-79% C:50-64% F:0-49% - Makeup exams for mid-term and final exams can be scheduled ONLY in the one week period after the exam date. Makeup exams will only be

- A course completion certificate will be given to students who wish to receive one and who receive a letter grade of C or higher.
- Course schedules are based on the academic calendar of School of Engineering.
- Missing more than 30 minutes of each class is considered as an absence. Arriving to class late or leaving class early 3 times will be regarded as one absence.
- The attendance of the first week will not be counted since it is an orientation week.
- Class contents and classrooms are subject to change.
