What is International Lounge?

As part of the effort to encourage internationalization,  IIIEE hosts International Lounge to promote exchanges between international students and Japanese students. Both international and Japanese students at The University of Tokyo talk in different languages and make new friends in a relaxing and open atmosphere.

Activities

Students bring lunch to get together and have relaxed conversation in Japanese, English, or other languages. 20 to 40 international and Japanese students participate every time.  There are also seasonal events  several times a year and over 60 people participate every time.

To participate

Visit directly to the place below.  Students who do not take Japanese classes can also participate. There is no registration required.
